The
Grandi Giardini Italiani are preparing to welcome you with many spooky events for adults and children alike on the most spooky weekend of the year.
The origins of the term
Halloween can be traced back to the Scottish variant of
All Hallows' Eve, the eve of All Saints' Day, the night between October 31st and November 1st, marked by the Celtic festival of Samhain, which celebrated the end of summer. Today,
Halloween has lost its agricultural connotation and is known mostly for its macabre and commercial forms. In this guise, it established itself in the United States in the 20th century and from there also conquered Europe, and with it, Italy. Thus, even here, All Saints' Eve is now known as the night of trick-or-treating and is a joy for children.
There are several events scheduled in the
Grandi Giardini Italiani to experience this enchantment.

Miradolo Castle (San Secondo Pinerolo, Turin),
