The Rosa Grandi Giardini ItalianiŽ is a large-flowered shrub rose with an upright habit and dense, dark green foliage. It is highly disease-resistant. The flowers are borne on single, long stems in raised buds that slowly open into large, double corollas. It belongs to the Thea hybrid family.
The color of the petals changes from a velvety red in bud to a crimson hue as the flower opens. The fragrance is particularly intense, characterized by the typical fragrances of the Damask rose, with an addition of fruity notes.
This variety has a remarkable ability to rebloom until late autumn and can reach a height of 70 to 90 cm.
