Into the Light is the underlying theme of the Reggia di Venaria Reale (Venaria Reale, TO) program scheduled from June 21, 2025, the first day of summer, until January 6, 2026 with exhibitions, meetings, insights and special dedicated initiatives.
The great theme of “light” in art, of particular importance in general in the Baroque age, is expressed at the Reggia through its architectural masterpieces: the Galleria Grande, the Cappella di Sant'Uberto and the Citroniera by Filippo Juvarra.
The first event that inaugurates the program dedicated to the theme of light begins on Saturday, June 21 with Into the Light. Ouverture in the “Galleria della luce” The Reggia with its evocative spaces open to a unique and fascinating experience from dawn to dusk, on the occasion of the summer solstice, June 21.

Multimedia installations, with light projections that overlap the canvases of the Sala di Diana. Curated by Davide Ferrario, in collaboration with the National Museum of Cinema in Turin.
◆Sunday, June 22, The miracle of light
Conversation with astrophysicist Ersilia Vaudo Scarpetta at the Sala di Diana.
◆ June 28-August 31, Anthony McCall. Solid Light
McCall's ''light sculptures'', scenographic beams of light in dialogue with the Baroque environments and perspectives of the Palace. Exhibition in collaboration with Tate, UK.
◆June 28-August 30, Summer Evenings at the Palace
Parties, dreams, art and visions with the Gardens illuminated by thousands of candles.
Every Friday and Saturday and Thursday 14 August the Reggia extends its opening hours to the public until 11 pm, with a special ticket. The Gardens host shows and live music, and offer pleasant moments of relaxation and aperitif at sunset.
◆Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 June, Jazzaria
As a preview of the Summer Evenings on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 June, the great international jazz music of Jazzarìa, now in its second edition, starring Ray Gelato & The Giants feat. Emma Smith on the first evening, and the legendary voice of Dee Dee Bridgewater feat. Fabrizio Bosso on the second evening.

The program also includes activities and workshops dedicated to the theme of light for the Summer Camps during the first part of the day: every weekday from 9:30 to 11.
