With the arrival of summer, every Friday and Saturday and Thursday 14 August, the Venaria festival and the eve of Ferragosto, the Reggia di Venaria (Venaria Reale, TO) extends its opening hours to the public until 11 pm, with a special ticket.
From 28 June to the end of August, Estate Evenings at the Reggia offers the public the opportunity to visit the Galleria Grande, the Sala di Diana, the Cappella di Sant'Uberto and the other magnificent rooms of the complex, and the current exhibitions, in the evening.
The magic of Summer Evenings at the Reggia continues in the Gardens, which host shows and live music, pleasant moments of relaxation, aperitifs at sunset and which at dusk are illuminated by the light of thousands of candles.
The Estate Evenings open this year on Saturday 28 June, with the great international jazz music of Jazzarìa, now in its second edition.
This year's event is further enhanced by the project Into the Light which includes the possibility of visiting the exhibition of Anthony McCall in the Citroniera, the installations of Davide Ferrario and, at the Cascina Medici del Vascello, of Marinella Senatore, one of the most internationally renowned contemporary Italian artists with her large light installation Assembly which is inspired by the traditional illuminations of Southern Italy.
