10 new botanical masterpieces
The Grandi Giardini Italiani network continues its relentless growth, welcoming 2025 with the addition of ten new botanical masterpieces to the circuit, bringing the total to 150.
Unique places, guardians of centuries-old history, such as the Botanical Garden of Pavia, the oldest in Lombardy, founded in 1773 at the behest of Maria Theresa of Austria, or gardens with a contemporary soul, such as the Caneva Gardens, created in 2018 within the 17th-century walls of the “gardens” of Sarzana.
Places of pure beauty capable of conveying inspiration, culture and joy to their visitors, such as Villa la Rotonda (Vicenza) and Villa di Maser (Maser, TV), architectural masterpieces by the architect Andrea Palladio.
Places that offer an experience of harmony and contemplation, where art, history and nature come together in one of the most evocative expressions of Italian beauty: the Garden of the Convent of the Church of the Holy Redeemer (Giudecca, Venice).
Places where art and wine come together and blend with the harmony of the landscape, such as Ca' del Bosco in Erbusco (BS).
Places where you can enjoy an experience that combines past and present, tradition and wonder. I am thinking of ancient noble residences such as Villa Miralfiore in Pesaro and Villa La Quiete in Treia (MC), jealous guardians of a past made up of art, science and botany.
Places where the power of nature and human ingenuity come together to create wonder. Villa Gregoriana - Bene FAI in Tivoli (RM) is not just a park: it is a multi-sensory journey through history, art and the spectacular force of nature.
Evocative places where art, nature and history live in perfect harmony with the territory, such as in Palermo's Villa Comunale 'Parco Trevelyan', which offers spectacular views of Mount Etna and the Bay of Naxos.
Let's discover them together!
