Summer 2026 brings to Collodi a rich calendar of events including art, entertainment, tradition and culture. The Pinocchio Park and the Historic Garzoni Garden celebrate two important anniversaries this year: the 70 years of the Pinocchio Park and the bicentenary of the birth of Carlo Lorenzini, whose celebrations will continue until 2027.
Among the most anticipated new features is the multimedia exhibition ''Pinocchio 3D'', curated by Medartec, scheduled at Parco di Pinocchio from 18 July to 18 October. An immersive and interactive experience that accompanies the public to discover the genesis of the work, its suggestions and its meanings.
Through educational panels, videos, costumes, sketches and a hologram by Carlo Lorenzini, visitors will be able to take on the role of Pinocchio and retrace his adventures and training path, in an experience designed to involve adults and children.
THE PINOCCHIO CARD
On the weekend of 18 and 19 July the Park will also host the Master Papermakers of the Magnani Company of the Pescia Paper Museum, who will offer a demonstration of the hand-making of watermarked paper with the image of Pinocchio.
The activity will take place from 4pm to 6pm and will be repeated on 25 and 26 July, 7 and 8 August and 29 and 30 August.
“WIRELESS” - PINOCCHIO STREET FESTIVAL
From 21 to 23 August, “Senza Fili” - Pinocchio Street Festival returns to Collodi for the 11th edition, organized by the Associazione Senza Fili APS in collaboration with the Fondazione Nazionale Carlo Collodi.
The festival will involve the entire historic village of Collodi with a program of shows that brings together some of the most interesting Italian and international theatrical productions, with particular attention to popular theatre, Commedia dell'Arte and classical and contemporary music.
Among the events not to be missed, on August 21st the Parco di Pinocchio will host the concert of Roberto “Bobo” Rondelli, while on August 23rd it will be the turn of Paolo Rossi, on stage with Operaccia Satirica together with Caterina Gabanella.
A summer full of opportunities to return to Collodi and discover Pinocchio through new forms of storytelling, entertainment and creativity, without forgetting the traditions and cultural excellence of the area
