From June 7th to September 6th, the ''Sundays in the Alpine Pastures'' return to Bielmonte, offering an opportunity to immerse yourself in nature and discover the rhythms, gestures, and traditions of mountain pasture life.
Among the green high-altitude pastures, where cows and horses live in harmony with nature, you can meet the animals, witness hand-milking, and discover how milk is transformed into cheese according to ancient techniques passed down from generation to generation.
The experience takes place at the Agriturismo Alpe Moncerchio and also includes a walk to the dairy, where you can watch the production of Macagn, a typical local cheese, and visit the cellar.

🗒️ SCHEDULE
We recommend departing from Bocchetto Sessera by 9:00 a.m. From there, an easy, 45-minute walk along a dirt road with little elevation gain leads to Agriturismo Alpe Moncerchio.
Activities begin at 10:00-10:15 a.m. with a presentation of the farm and the mountain pasture, a visit to the grazing cows, and a demonstration of hand-milking.
Next, a short walk takes you to the dairy to watch the Macagn cheese being made and visit the cellar.
You can also have lunch at the farm and purchase products from the mountain pasture.
