Make Democracy Great Again, Sweden, 2023
Documentary by John Lundberg and Jan II
The documentary focuses on one of the most important questions of our time: will democracy survive? Only 13% of the world's population lives in a democracy, and development is reversing. Globally, the democratic progress of the last 30 years is being eradicated. Parties are losing members. Right-wing movements are on the rise. In the film, journalist and writer Jan Scherman wants to show that the situation is critical. But he also wants to offer hope, the possibility of reversing development.
