On Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., ''Hands in the Earth: I'm Building My Greenhouse'' at the Catania Botanical Garden concludes '' Officine Botaniche,'' a series of workshops for children curated by Officine Culturali.
Children will enjoy an immersive experience amidst the greenery of the University of Catania's Botanical Garden: through an interactive walk, they will transform into little explorers, closely observing plants and discovering why they are so important for human life and the balance of the environment. After the discovery phase, there will be room for creativity: the little participants will create a small greenhouse to take home and care for over time, reflecting on the themes of recycling and ecology through play, manual skills, and awareness.
The workshop, organized by Officine Culturali, is open to boys and girls only. The activity is intended for children aged 5-10, and reservations are required by purchasing the online ticket.
