On Sunday, May 10, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., ''OrtOrigami with Mom'' at the Catania Botanical Garden, in celebration of Mother's Day, continues ''Officine Botaniche,'' the series of workshops for children curated by Officine Culturali.
Girls and boys, along with their mothers or a close family member (be it a grandparent, an aunt, or a father!), will enjoy a special experience along the paths of the University of Catania's scientific garden, where nature, creativity, and discovery meet. After a stroll among plants and scents, they will be guided in the ancient art of origami: from a simple sheet of paper, fold after fold, creations inspired by the natural world will take shape. Through play and sharing, the little participants will develop manual skills, concentration, and imagination, transforming paper into small keepsakes to take home as a memento of a unique moment shared with their mother.
The workshop, organized by Officine Culturali, is aimed at children aged 5-10 and requires participation from children accompanied by an adult. Reservations are required by purchasing the online ticket.
