Villa La Babina in Imola is one of the 12 locations featured in Naturalmente Imola. Now in its 18th edition, Naturalmente Imola is the Municipality of Imola's event, taking place from September 7th to October 7th and aiming to showcase Imola's rich natural heritage.
The event, organized with the support of CLAI Imola and Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Imola, has built a significant following over the years, thanks to a rich program of initiatives designed to showcase the city's green heritage.
There are two performances and workshops scheduled at Villa La Babina, offered by CLAI. It starts Sunday 7 September with the traditional Campestre CLAI & ecological walk, a race course (or pleasant walk) from the historic park of Villa La Babina in the shade of the monumental row of oaks on Via Papotta, along the green headlands that lead to the CLAI salami factory, passing by beautiful farms, among crops and vineyards to return to the villa.
Saturday, September 27, instead, will host the guided tour ''A walk in the villa... centuries-old trees and rose blossoms.'' A visit to the villa's romantic landscaped park, nestled in the countryside just outside the village of Sasso Morelli, features a charming green backdrop consisting of centuries-old oaks and holm oaks, a monumental white elm, two majestic Atlas cedars, and hedges with collections of roses, hydrangeas, and peonies. The park is the gateway to the farm, following the path that leads to the row of oaks on Via Papotta, protected by regional law, and to the CLAI cooperative's cured meats factory. Villa.
Villa La Babina is part of the Grandi Giardini Italiani network. Musical aperitif in collaboration with the Vassura Baroncini Brass Band, Nuova Scuola di Musica Vassura-Baroncini di Imola. Aperitif tasting of CLAI cured meats, FAGGIOLA cheeses, and TRE MONTI wines.
