The 9th edition of the Lerici Music Festival is underway, which will liven up the summer of one of the most popular destinations in the Gulf of Poets from July 24 to August 4.
''Music, Image, Movement'' is the title chosen by the artistic director and conductor Gianluca Marcianò for the current edition, a tribute to the indissoluble bond that the visual arts have woven with music before and after the invention of cinema.

The historic Villa Marigola, which inspired the symbolist art of Arnold Böcklin; the centuries-old Church of San Francesco, where a painting from 1480 saved from a storm is venerated; the Art Nouveau charm of the Rotonda Vassallo, the historic square in the center of Lerici with a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Poets; the thirteenth-century Fortezza Firmafede di Sarzana, which watches over the Via Francigena: these are the main stages of the Lerici Music Festival where artists who are writing the history of music and interpretation will alternate. .

The Lerici Music Festival represents a unique reality of its kind. Conceived and founded in 2017 by the conductor Gianluca Marcianò, originally from Lerici, it is intended to be a tribute to his hometown and its inhabitants.
The Festival is organized by the Associazione Suoni dal Golfo, and is supported by the Ministry of Culture (MiC), the Liguria Region and the Municipality of Lerici, as well as by a generous network of friends and enthusiasts who support it and who constitute, to date, one of its distinctive features.
