After the great success of the first edition, Fondazione Augusto Rancilio presents the second edition of the Festival della Mitologia: four new appointments, under the artistic direction of Massimiliano Finazzer Flory, to talk, dialogue, and discuss with big names from the Italian cultural scene what “myth” is and what it still speaks to us about today.
Myths are stories, but they are also representations of ourselves, of the values, vices and virtues that we have been embodying for centuries.
Villa Arconati since the seventeenth century has been populated by heroes and gods of classical mythology; it is the ideal place, therefore, to tell stories of beauty, art and culture, but also of love, truth and justice starting from the tales of its theaters, its statues, and its wonderful frescoes.
Leonardo and his mythological figures: Leda, Hercules, Neptune is the title of the first of four meetings and will be held on Sunday, May 11, at 11 a.m., with the participation of Pietro Marani.
The “Festival of Mythology” events are free of charge, open to the public with limited seating. After the meetings it will be possible to visit the Villa upon purchase of the entrance ticket.
