The Rhododendron Grove is blooming again
You still have time to admire the amazing flowering of the Conca dei Rododendri of the Oasi Zegna in Trivero (BI)!
Commissioned by Ermenegildo Zegna and designed in the 1950s by the architect Pietro Porcinai, the Conca dei Rododendri is transformed, from mid-May to early June, into a palette of colors with shades ranging from red to pink, from white to purple, creating a suggestive explosion of colors.
A show for the eyes to which this year too the walks in the company of the OverAlp nature guides are dedicated, on a renewed route that this year is enriched with open-air works of art such as “Two Way Mirror/ Hedge Arabesque” by Dan Graham. created for the “All'Aperto” project promoted by Fondazione Zegna: an installation that through differentiated refraction envelops visitors in a play of reflections, multiplying their gazes on the surrounding landscape and the colors ensured by the blooms.
On Saturday 31 May the bus delle firoiture will be active, a special free connection to reach the Conca dei Rododendri.
If you prefer, instead, to reach the Conca dei Rododendri (Località Baso) by car, I recommend using the car park located in Località Craviolo, easily reachable by taking the Panoramica Zegna towards Bielmonte. Once you have parked your car you can reach the Conca via a comfortable and easy path in the woods.
Remember that to participate in the guided tour you need to book by purchasing the ticket on the website wwww.overalp.it.
