On the occasion of Panorama Day, environmental hiking guide Roberto Brogliatti will accompany visitors on a walk through the historic Castle Park and Masino Park.
A trail to discover the environmental and naturalistic characteristics of the Morainic Amphitheater of Ivrea and how the passage of the Balteo Glacier has shaped the landscape over time. 🏔️
From the Park's Belvedere, the view opens onto the Serra d'Ivrea, the largest lateral moraine in Europe, which draws an unmistakable line on the horizon, all the way to the first hills of the Graian Alps. The view also encompasses the plains of the Amphitheater, shaped over millennia by the force of the glacier.
During the walk, there will be plenty of interesting facts, stories, and anecdotes dedicated to this extraordinary cultural landscape. 🌳👀
☔ In case of inclement weather, the event will take place in Palazzo Marchesa, where the landscape narrative will be accompanied by a video projection.
