On Sunday, September 6, Oasi Zegna celebrates FAI Panorama Day with Paesaggio in Musica, a day of open-air concerts curated by the Filarmonica TRT, under the artistic direction of Enrico Carraro.
A program that brings music and landscape into dialogue, accompanying the public on a discovery of some of the most evocative places in Oasi Zegna.
Industry, Man, Nature: Music at the Conca dei Rododendri
The day kicks off at 10:00 a.m. at the Conca dei Rododendri, meeting at the Craviolo parking lot. From there, a musical journey will begin, with stops every 30 minutes, centered around three themes: Industry, Man, and Nature.
Three listening moments immersed in the landscape, with music by Paul Hindemith, Modest Mussorgsky, and Heinrich Franz von Biber, performed by the musicians of the TRT Philharmonic. An original way to traverse the Conca dei Rododendri, letting music and nature guide the journey.
Pictures and Soundscapes
In the afternoon, at 3:30 pm, the event moves to the Ermenegildo Zegna Garden with Pictures and Soundscapes, a concert by the TRT Philharmonic wind and string ensemble.
The program features Pictures at an Exhibition by Modest Mussorgsky, in its transcription for wind quintet, and the Nonet in E-flat major, Op. 38 by Louise Farrenc. A second listening moment outdoors, where the landscape becomes an integral part of the scene.
Casa Zegna: art, history, and culture
During the day, it will also be possible to visit Casa Zegna, open free of charge from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The permanent exhibition From Sheep to Shop and the temporary exhibition by Chiara Camoni, LUCCICANZA. Of flowers and thread, of stone and earth, of leather and roots will be open to the public.
The initiative is organized in collaboration with the FAI - Italian Environment Fund, the FAI Biella Delegation, the Valdilana and Valsessera Group, the FAI Youth Biella Delegation, and the Zegna Foundation.
Participation requires a contribution starting from €10 for FAI members and €15 for non-members. Admission is free for children under 18.
Reservations are not required. The event will take place even in case of inclement weather.
