Luccicanza. Di fiori e di filo, di pietra e di terra, di pelle e di radici is the new exhibition project by Chiara Camoni, commissioned by Fondazione Zegna and curated by Ilaria Bonacossa. Set in the spaces of Casa Zegna, the exhibition offers an immersive journey in which sculpture, ceramics, weaving, and natural materials interact, creating an environment that invites reflection on the relationship between matter, landscape, and memory.
Created in close connection with the local area, the exhibition is born from research that focuses on the creative process and the transformation of materials. Earth, minerals, plant fibers, and yarns become expressive elements that narrate the bond between man and nature, between craftsmanship and time.
The title Luccicanza recalls the subtle glow that emerges from matter: a light born from the encounter between different elements and which, in the artist's works, becomes a metaphor for the continuous transformation of nature and the relationships that exist within it.
The works on display include sculptures, ceramics, textile installations, and surfaces made from natural materials, many of which are used in the production process to enhance their chromatic and textural qualities. Through these elements, Chiara Camoni constructs a sensitive landscape in which each work tells a story of collaboration, experimentation, and memory.
A distinctive aspect of her artistic practice is its collective dimension: many works arise from dialogue with artisans, weavers, and collaborators, making the creative process a shared experience.
The exhibition concludes with the re-installation of the work Senza titolo, Stabkarte (2014), an installation composed of hundreds of small hand-shaped elements suspended in space, which expands the reflection on matter and the infinite possibilities of landscape transformation.
