On Friday, July 3, Villa Carlotta opens its doors for an unmissable musical event. In the evocative and magical atmosphere of the Sala Marmi, students of the Accademia “Don Carlo Basci-Aps” will perform in a special concert celebrating the greatest masters of the classical tradition under the artistic direction of Professor Tommaso Grandi.
The repertoire will range from the Baroque to the mid-twentieth century, with a particular focus on the Romantic period. Spectators will be guided on a sonic journey through the immortal works of musical giants such as Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, Chopin, and Shostakovich.
The evening will offer a rich variety of ensembles, alternating solo piano performances with intense duets for violin and piano, cello and piano, and horn and piano. The detailed program will include an element of surprise and will be announced directly by the artists on stage during the concert.
