This year, the Ugo Da Como Foundation, in collaboration with the La Melagrana Cooperative, is organizing the ''R...estate al Castello'' summer camp. Participants will have the unique opportunity to learn and have fun in an exceptional setting: a medieval castle nestled in a park rich in history and nature, between the Rocca di Lonato del Garda and the gardens of the Casa del Podestà Museum.
The activities, designed to combine fun and creativity with stimulating learning experiences, are aimed at primary school children (first grade already attended) and first and second grade middle school students.

Every day takes place from Monday to Friday according to the following schedule:
🛡️ Pedagogical Value and Safety
Children will be constantly supported by the educators of the La Melagrana Cooperative and the Foundation staff, professionals with qualifications and many years of experience in the education sector.
The Foundation's rich historical, artistic, and naturalistic collections will stimulate the curiosity, imagination, and talent of each participant, making them an active participant in a continuous and stimulating adventure over time.

ℹ️ Useful Information and Organization
Period: June - September 2026 (Monday to Friday, 8:15 am - 4:30 pm).
Spaces: Activities will take place primarily outdoors in the private gardens and in the Castle; suitable indoor spaces will be used if necessary.
Lunch: Packed lunch provided by parents (including refreshments).
Registration fee: €110.00 per week per child (the fee includes all materials needed for the workshops).
Registration: Registration must be completed exclusively online through the dedicated platform of the Municipality of Lonato del Garda: click here to register.

A journey to discover insects, plants, and hidden wonders, through nature, exploration, and small experiments. - From June 15th to 19th | THREE, TWO, ONE... CURTAIN! The Rocca goes on stage
A week of theater and creativity to transform every child into a protagonist through role-playing games, costumes, and performances. - From June 22nd to 26th | LADIES, KNIGHTS, AND VALIANT HEROES: at the court of the Rocca
A dive into the Middle Ages, amidst legends, tournaments, magic, and adventures, exploring life in the castle. - From August 31st to September 4th | THE PAPER CASTLE: Adventure in Books
Stories, animated readings, and creative workshops to let your imagination wander through the pages of books and the extraordinary library. - From September 7th to 11th | FROM WASTE TO MASTERPIECE: The Magic of Recycling
Recycled materials are given new life through art workshops and sustainability activities.
⏱️ A Typical Day
Every day takes place from Monday to Friday according to the following schedule:
- From 8:15 am: Welcome and discovery/exploratory activities on the day's theme, with guided tours of specific locations or collections at the Rocca and the Casa del Podestà.
- Mid-morning: Snack break.
- Lunch: Packed lunch (provided by the family).
- Early afternoon: Free play and support with holiday homework.
- Afternoon: Practical workshop activities to creatively rework what was learned in the morning.
- 4:30 pm: Snack and end of the day.
