Once school is out, Summer Camp at Villa Carlotta returns. Five weeks of nature, art, and fun for children ages 6 to 11, set against the backdrop of a centuries-old botanical garden and a museum filled with masterpieces, form the backdrop to an outstanding educational project.
The program complements family and school, offering free time that is both educational and stimulating. Through workshop experiences conducted in a fun and engaging way, children will experience a moment of personal growth in an incredibly valuable setting.
🎈 Activities
Every day will be a mix of adventure and creativity:
◈ Art and crafts workshops
◈ Outdoor games and walks in the botanical gardens
◈ Discovering the museum's artworks
◈ Animated readings and ''old-fashioned'' games
📅 Weekly Themes
Each week will feature a specific theme, guided by a spirit of exploration:
◈ Sustainable Villa Carlotta
Young ecologists will challenge themselves by making their own toothpaste, creating a natural deodorant, and producing recycled paper.
◈ Tone on Tone: Playing with Colors at Villa Carlotta
A dive into art: open-air painting, experimenting with natural colors, and painted paper and collage workshops inspired by Matisse.
◈ Villa Carlotta… In All the Senses
A unique sensory journey through tactile painting, scent recognition with the park's aromatic plants, and the creation of a sound box.
◈ From Villa Carlotta to the World
A journey through cultures and stories: the creation of a small Zen garden, the creation of a mythological comic strip featuring Ulysses and Palamedes, and the construction of a totem pole in honor of the great sequoias.
Thanks to the generous donation of a private American foundation, the price was reduced to accommodate families and included a daily snack for all participants.
