Oasi Zegna celebrates spring with two events dedicated to nature, tradition, and exploring the region. Between the spectacular blooms of the Conca dei Rododendri and the ancient practice of transhumance, visitors can enjoy immersive experiences amidst Alpine landscapes, culture, and biodiversity.
From mid-May to early June, the Conca dei Rododendri-located at the entrance to Oasi Zegna and designed in the 1950s by landscape architect Pietro Porcinai-is transformed into an explosion of color thanks to the blooming of thousands of rhododendrons and azaleas. Guided walks organized by OverAlp will accompany visitors in discovering this evocative natural setting.
The calendar includes the following events:
During the excursions, Over Alp nature guides will explore the phenomenon of flowering and accompany participants along the artistic trail ''Two Way Mirror / Hedge Arabesque'' by Dan Graham, created for the ''All'Aperto'' project promoted by the Fondazione Zegna. The installation creates a continuous dialogue between nature and art, offering visitors an immersive experience of the landscape.
In addition to the flowering, Oasi Zegna also offers an event dedicated to transhumance, an ancient pastoral practice that still characterizes Alpine life today. It's an opportunity to learn about the relationship between people, animals, and the mountains, through stories, demonstrations, and moments of sharing.
