On Sunday, May 31st, the fifth edition of ''Rose di Maggio,'' the traditional 19th-century Grand Ball promoted as part of the ''Il Filo della Storia'' project, returns to the splendid setting of Villa Arconati-FAR (Castellazzo di Bollate, MI).
This historical reenactment event will enliven the Villa's halls with 19th-century atmospheres, costumed dances, and performances inspired by the Risorgimento period. The event will feature over fifty dancers in period costumes, accompanied by extras and dancers from the Società di Danza Monza e Brianza, performing choreography drawn from 19th-century dance manuals.
The program will begin at 3:30 pm in the Ballroom of Villa Arconati with the 19th-century Grand Ball, followed at 5:30 pm by the ''Promenade in the Blooming Garden,'' a charming stroll through the Villa's historic gardens.
During the event, guided tours of the Villa's gardens and historic spaces, including the famous Ballroom, normally closed to the public, will also be available. Tours will begin at 3:00 PM, with tours every 30 minutes.
This initiative is part of the ''The Thread of History'' historical reenactments program, dedicated to promoting the cultural and landscape heritage of Villa Arconati.

In anticipation of the Grand Ball, from May 25th to 27th, Villa Arconati is offering special guided tours of the monumental garden in bloom, accompanied by the scent of May roses.
An evocative journey through nature, history, and architecture leads visitors to the elegant Lombard Baroque Ballroom, the heart of the 19th-century event.
