From June 23rd to September 8th, Vivere il Parco returns, the rich calendar of summer events promoted by the Autonomous Province of Trento at the charming Parco delle Terme di Levico. This program, designed for adults, children, and families, combines nature, culture, music, literature, and creative activities in one of Trentino's most fascinating historic parks.
Throughout the summer, the park will host open-air concerts, meetings with authors, children's theater performances, guided historical-botanical tours, creative workshops, and educational activities dedicated to sustainability and the environment. There will also be permanent exhibitions and trails dedicated to discovering the park's botanical heritage, which includes nearly 600 trees and numerous monumental species.
Among the most anticipated events are the music festival with jazz, world music, baroque, and classical music concerts hosted in the natural amphitheater and at the Sequoia Installation, and Levico meets the authors, a series of literary meetings featuring leading figures in contemporary Italian fiction and nonfiction.
There's also plenty of space for children's activities, with educational and creative workshops dedicated to water, biodiversity, bees, sustainable mobility, and recycling, as well as theater performances designed for families. Adults will enjoy workshops on gardening, composting, perennial herbs, natural preparations, and Alpine traditions.
The program also includes guided tours of the Parco delle Terme, exhibitions dedicated to historic gardens and orchids, and the flower show ''Dahlias: Trame di Petals,'' scheduled from August 28 to 30.
Participation in the activities is free, unless otherwise noted, with reservations required for tours and workshops.
