A new event dedicated to nature and greenery lovers has arrived at the Botanical Gardens of Villa Taranto: Garden Talks, short but richly informative meetings designed to introduce the public to the world of botany and beyond in a simple, engaging, and accessible way.
The meetings will take place approximately every two weeks at the Herbarium on Fridays at 2:30 pm and again on Saturdays at 10:30 am, and will last approximately 30 minutes.
This program will be led by Dr. Alessandra Sana, deputy botanical curator, with experience at Wisley Gardens (near London). She will be supported, depending on the topics covered, by gardeners and external professionals, accompanying participants on a journey through plants, gardens, and natural curiosities.
''Garden Talks - Botany and More'' offer an opportunity for discussion and in-depth exploration of a wide range of topics: from plant characteristics to botanical curiosities, to practical tips for daily garden care, each meeting will offer useful insights for cultivating not only your own garden but also a more conscious connection with nature.
A simple and dynamic format, designed for those who want to learn something new, even in a short amount of time.
