During Fuorisalone, the Crespi Bonsai Museum (Parabiago, MI) becomes the setting for a captivating encounter between art, nature, and design, hosting the Faces collection by Jaipur Rugs, created in collaboration with Kengo Kuma.
Inside the Museum and the Japanese garden, handcrafted rugs interact with centuries-old bonsai trees and precious antique vases, creating an immersive journey where architecture translates into textile material. The surfaces, inspired by Kuma's iconic works, evoke rhythm, light, and depth through refined craftsmanship, offering visitors a unique experience that celebrates the intersection of cultures and knowledge, in the heart of one of the most fascinating locations of Milan Design Week.
Open Doors
To coincide with the event, the Crespi Bonsai Museum is organizing two Open Doors days on April 22nd and 23rd, during which the Japanese gardens and greenhouses will be open to the public.
Hours: 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM / 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM
