March events

Spring is blooming at Miradolo Castle (S. Secondo Pinerolo, Turin), and it's a hive of encounters and events.

Below is the schedule of events scheduled for the weekends in March.

Saturday, March 21, 3 pm
Opening of the exhibition ''There is a fairy tale today. Castles, fairies, woods, and magical objects. From Emilio Isgrò to Pinot Gallizio, from Kiki Smith to Lucio Fontana,'' the new exhibition project that the Cosso Foundation dedicates to the role of fairy tales in the contemporary world.

Sunday, March 22
  • 10:30 am: CHILDREN'S SUNDAY
    ''There was a card'' - Educational workshop on display for families

    We will be making some very special decks of playing cards, which will allow us to create new stories.
    Ages: 2 - 5 years
    Curated by Elena Tortia and Greta Zamboni, museum staff
    Cost: €5 for children*, accompanying adult included in the admission ticket
  • 3 PM: GUIDED TOUR OF THE EXHIBITION
    Guided tour of the exhibition: a journey through works and stories to discover themes, stories, and curiosities with an expert guide.
    Curated by Elena Tortia and Greta Zamboni, museum staff
    Cost: included in the admission ticket; €4 for Museum Pass holders.

“The Awakening of the Park”

A slow and evocative walk among trees, new lights, and scents in the air, to observe nature awakening and discover the first signs of spring.

  • 3 PM: THE MAGIC OF MOVIE BOOKS
    Guided tour of the movie books in the exhibition ''There's a Fairy Tale Today at Miradolo Castle,'' to discover pop-ups and paper mechanisms.
