As part of the Le Note dell'Isola - 2026 Season festival, Isola del Garda (S. Felice del Benaco, Brescia) hosts the fourth concert featuring the Duo Epices.
Recorder flutist Maria Dorner-Hofmann and harpist Caroline Schmidt-Polex have been performing together for over twenty years, after training at the Universität Mozarteum. They present a new program that blends classical music and European folk traditions, including tarantellas, Alpine melodies, and sounds from Ireland, the Balkans, and Denmark, with pieces by Maurice Ravel, Jacques Ibert, and the famous Carnaval de Venise by Pierre-Agricole Genin.
