Fondazione Augusto Rancilio is pleased to announce the screening of the documentary film ''The Patron'' at Villa Arconati in Castellazzo di Bollate, just outside Milan.
A special event dedicated to the extraordinary figure of Galeazzo Arconati, considered the first patron of art in the modern era, the protagonist of the new film written and directed by Massimiliano Finazzer Flory.
Presented at the 81st Venice International Film Festival, ''The Patron'' tells the story of a man who left an indelible mark on Italian culture, donating masterpieces such as Leonardo da Vinci's Codex Atlanticus and the monumental statue of Pompey the Great, the largest in Northern Italy.
A fascinating journey through history, art, and myth, accompanied by the voices of international experts.
The event will be held on Sunday, November 30 in the charming Museum Hall of Villa Arconati at 3:00 PM, with Director Massimiliano Finazzer Flory in attendance.
