The autumn art workshops designed for children are back at Giardino Giusti in Verona, as per the following schedule:
◈Saturday, October 4th - Blue in the Garden
Discover the magic of cyanotype, a photographic technique that captures traces of leaves, feathers, and other materials on photosensitive paper.
◈Saturday, October 18th - Foliage in Print
Leaf engraving and printing workshop: abstract landscapes in the warm colors of autumn.
◈Saturday, November 1st - In the Box of Wild Things!
Inspired by the fantasy world of Maurice Sendak, children will create fantastical creatures and landscapes inside cardboard boxes.
◈Saturday, November 15th - Paper Trees
Guided by the ideas of Bruno Munari, we will create our own trees by folding, cutting, and tearing paper.
◈Saturday, November 29 - The Garden in a Bag
Creative print on a cotton shopping bag, inspired by the plant forms of the garden.
◈Saturday, December 6 - Origami Booklet
A small book to make with origami folds, perfect as a holiday gift.
◈Saturday, December 20 - Christmas Place Card
Small boxes decorated with themed characters to use as place cards or decorations for Christmas.
The workshops begin at 3:00 pm and take place in the Teaching Room of the Giardino Giusti. Each workshop lasts approximately 90 minutes. Participation in the workshop includes admission for one accompanying adult and the opportunity to visit the Giardino Giusti freely.
