Open-air cinema returns to the spotlight of the Florentine summer with one of the most evocative arenas: from July 8 to August 24, the panoramic Terrazza Belvedere of the Giardino Bardini opens its doors to the sixth edition of Cinema in Villa, the event that for years has combined the magic of the big screen with the beauty of the panorama of Florence.
The initiative, promoted and organized by the Fondazione CR Firenze in collaboration with the Fondazione Parchi Monumentali Bardini e Peyron and the Associazione Culturale Musart, with the patronage of the Comune di Firenze, confirms itself as an unmissable event for lovers of cinema and culture. The program, curated by the Niels Stensen Cultural Foundation, offers a rich program that ranges from the great successes of the past season to the best summer releases, without forgetting films in the original language and meetings with directors.
From 7:00 p.m. you can access the Belvedere Terrace for an aperitif with a view of the city, while the Villa Bardini Cafeteria offers dinners at reduced prices for spectators. Parking at the Forte di Belvedere is free for all participants.
It is advisable to purchase tickets in advance. The on-site ticket office opens at 8:15 p.m. on the days of the shows.
