On Saturday 20th September Il Quartetto will be on stage in Bergamo at Palazzo Moroni-Bene FAI.
It will be the last of four events of chamber music by Il Quartetto to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the foundation of FAI - Fondo per l'Ambiente Italiano.
The series includes concerts in as many jewels of Lombardy's cultural heritage, from 28th June to 20th September. It starts Saturday 28th June, under the sign of the elegance of Villa Necchi Campiglio (Milan), which will be the setting for the encounter between the virtuosity of [Francesca Bonaita on the violin and the mastery of the piano by Mikhail Mordvinov, in a programme that will range from the monument of Beethoven, to the mystery of Kreisler and the refinements of Ravel.
Saturday, July 19, the enchanting atmosphere of Villa Panza (Varese) will vibrate with the sounds of the Trio Hermes (Ginevra Bassetti, violin, Francesca Giglio, cello, Marianna Pulsoni, piano), whose program is centered on the masterpieces of the romantic triad made up of Schumann, Schubert and Brahm.
Saturday, September 6, the sacredness of the Church of San Sebastiano in Villa Fogazzaro Roi (Oria, Como) will host the intense musical dialogue of the Quartetto Alinde (Eugenia Ottaviano and Guglielmo Dandolo Marchesi, violins, Gregor Hrabar, viola, Bartolomeo Dandolo Marchesi, cello), with a program that will combine the sublime melancholy of Schubert with the innovative sounds of the contemporary composer Migò.
Saturday 20 September, the majesty of Palazzo Moroni (Bergamo) will be the theater of the evocative melodies of Eugenio Della Chiara's guitar, in the vibrant compositions of Torroba, De Falla and Turina.
