Music is the protagonist of the summer evenings of the Giardini di Villa Taranto in Verbania-Pallanza with five unmissable events.
Opening the musical events at the Cine Popcorn Park, the concert of the Cello Quartet of the Milan Symphony, scheduled for Monday 16 June, at 6:30 pm.
On Friday 4 July, at 6:30 pm, with Crossroads, you will be the protagonist of a journey from baroque music to rock, a journey through the time of music from the seventeenth century to the present day, through the voice of Alessandra Gelfini accompanied on the piano by Roberto Olzer. A crossroads of styles, genres, musical suggestions between baroque, progressive rock and music of the 80s, which merge in a journey without interruption or chronological constraints. From Purcell and Handel to Genesis and Pink Floyd, from Bach and Pergolesi to Mike Oldfield, Emerson Lake & Palmer and Dave Grusin: a journey that reveals compositional treasures, bringing to light points of contact between eras and unexpected and underground references.
Opera music will instead be the protagonist on Friday 1 August, at 6:30 pm, thanks to Damiano Colombo, first tenor of the Fondazione Arena di Verona, and Roberto Olzer, a well-known pianist with a brilliant national and international career.
As part of the event Sunday at the Gardens, the event in which the Botanical Authority of the Gardens of Villa Taranto is offering 1,300 free tickets for residents of Verbania and Verbano Cusio Ossola, which will be held on Sunday 6 July and 3 August, you can attend the Choral Concert organized by the Associazione Cori Piemontesi.
Participation is included in the entrance ticket to the Gardens.
