Water flowers

From June to August...let yourself be enchanted by the different species of water lilies you will find in the ponds along the gardens and by the grand pond full of lotus flowers, Nelumbo nucifera, where petals are gleaming in rosy colour shades. The Nelumbo is the lotus lily, which is sacred to Buddhists and symbol of India. Its leaves have a diameter of about 50/60 cm. they are waterproof and rise from the level of the water up to one meter and a half.
