From 30th of April to 2nd of June, the Province of Lecco proposes the exhibition “Ceramic Gardens” at Villa Monastero. The exhibition is dedicated to seven floral-themed tableware sets, inspired by the botanical collections of the garden, displayed in the showcases on the first floor of the House Museum.
These are French (Limoges, Luneville, Sarreguemines), English (Stand di Davenport), and Italian (Vecchio Lodi and Ginori) manufactures from the 19th and 20th centuries, specialized in the creation of tableware decorated with floral motifs. It complements the display of tea and coffee sets in the villa's sitting room, the sumptuous Red Room on the ground floor furnished with neo-Rococo furniture.
