Orticolario 2025. EDEN
During the 15th edition of Orticolario. EDEN, the “Grandi Giardini Italiani” Award was bestowed upon Spazio Oasi Studio ''Viaggio Primordiale'', a garden designed by Andrea Volonterio and Davide Simoncini.
The space was recognized for its ability to welcome visitors by expressing art in all its forms, with particular attention to its intended purpose: serving both the local community and visitors from afar.
The award was presented by Bianca Passera, newly appointed President of Grandi Giardini Italiani.
Beauty, curiosity, wonder, temptation, primal instinct-these are the emotions that stir in the heart of anyone who crosses the garden's threshold, passing beneath a natural portal: an arch of interwoven branches guarding a hidden secret.
Beyond it, Eden reveals itself. It doesn't fully show-rather, it hints at its presence, like a mirage waiting to be discovered. Only by stepping inside, slowly and attentively, does one begin to perceive the richness of its lush, diverse landscape, in perfect harmony with the theme of Orticolario 2025.
The space welcomes and embraces. It invites you to linger, to return, to lose yourself among its forms.
It is a place for everyone: for those who seek wonder, for those who nurture awe, for the young, and even for the most “social,” thanks to a playful, contemporary touch of creativity.
A large mirror at the exit-witty, surprising, and thoroughly Instagrammable-offers a new perspective, reflecting not only the image of the visitor, but also the emotion of a brief journey into Eden.
