Six events in the Terre Borromeo destinations on Lake Maggiore as part of the Stresa Festival program, from July 17 to September 6. Among the new features, the Rocca di Angera joins Isola Bella and Isola Madre as a venue for concerts, with the option of enjoying an aperitif or an exclusive dinner before the evening's musical entertainment begins.
A musical event that combines the culture and poetry of an international artistic program with the magic of an extraordinarily beautiful setting on Lake Maggiore until September 6. This year, the experience will be even more engaging thanks to the opportunity to enjoy a cocktail or an exclusive dinner before the concert at the Terre Borromeo sites, Isola Bella and Rocca di Angera.
There will be six concerts, open air or in the halls of the palaces: the first will be on Thursday, July 17, at 9:30 p.m. on Isola Bella, where the traditional Irish music of Irish Traditional Music will fill the Piazzale delle Armi with its notes. Upon reservation, it will be possible to dine before the concert at the exclusive Delfino restaurant, taking advantage of the boat departing at 6:45 p.m. from the pier of the La Palma hotel. Two set menus with land or lake specialties are available to Delfino guests at a special price (45 euros).
On Friday, July 18, at 9 p.m., the charming Loggia del Cashmere on Isola Madre welcomes the Pacific Quintet with The Fantastic Five. A small kingdom of nature, overlooked by Palazzo Borromeo, where the emotion of music is enhanced by the enchanting exotic setting.
On Wednesday, July 23, at 9 p.m., we return to Isola Bella for Radici, a concert by young Italian pianist and composer Simone Locarni, who will perform with a group of four other musicians. The evening will be preceded, for those who wish, by an aperitif at the Delfino restaurant, upon reservation (cost €18, boat departing at 6:45 p.m. from the pier of the La Palma hotel). The same formula will be repeated on Friday, July 25, for the Passion concert with Richard Galliano on accordion and Simone Locarni on piano.
The Rocca di Angera, a new entry among the Terre Borromeo locations for this edition of the Stresa Festival, will host a musical evening on Wednesday, August 20, at 8 p.m. with Ensemble Sjaella in Head Heart. Before the concert, the audience can relax with an aperitif on the panoramic terrace of the Caffetteria Belvedere with a view of the lake.
At the Terre Borromeo sites, the last date of the Stresa Festival program is Thursday, August 28, at 8:30 p.m., with Solo Marimba and Simone Rubino in the elegant setting of the Salone Nuovo inside Palazzo Borromeo on Isola Bella. Here, Rubino brings the energy of percussion to a baroque repertoire. Aperitif at sunset before the concert at the Delfino restaurant.
