Friday 4th July officially opens the 37th edition of the Festival Villa Arconati in Castellazzo di Bollate (MI). An overwhelming edition that celebrates the double milestone: 40 years of the musical festival and the completion of the restoration of the monumental Gardens, which involved the lighting of the main paths of the garden, the rearrangement of the water features, the planting of 700 hornbeams.
The Festival Villa Arconati is a musical and cultural project born in 1989 and realized thanks to the collaboration between the Municipality of Bollate, the Fondazione Augusto Rancilio and the supporters of the event. Every year for almost 40 years, music has merged with the suggestive locations of Villa Arconati and the adjacent French gardens.
Over the years, the festival has seen the main musical artists of the Italian and international scene alternate on stage in genres ranging from rock to pop, from soul to jazz up to the most interesting experiences of world music and indie production. Past performances include Ivano Fossati, Giorgia, Michael Bublé and Patti Smith.
