The XVII century Villa del Grumello is located on the first basin of Lake Como, a short walk from the town centre, and it is surrounded by a park of great beauty and unique value.
Its refined spaces and enchanting view make it one of the most privi- leged historical residences on the shores of Lake Como, owned by well-known houses: the Odescalchi, the Giovio and then the Celesia – who hosted famous figures such as Vincenzo Monti, Alessandro Volta and Ugo Foscolo.

In 2006 the Associazione Villa del Grumello started an ambitious restoration of the different buildings of the estate, as well as the redevelopment of the 4 hectares park, which is the heart of the Chilometro della Conoscenza, along with Villa Olmo and Villa Sucota, forming a 15 hectares urban park.

The Villa del Grumello and its XIX century Greenhouse are the ideal setting for small conferences, workshops, lectures, cultural and corporate events and, with the Park, a privileged location for video and photo shoots or a venue for gala dinners and exclusive receptions.

The Grumello Park is structured with a romantic design, the scenic paths join the many viewpoints and the various areas: the majestic cedar and the cluster of maritime pines, the row of magnolias, the springfed pond with its water lily and lotus flowers. The parterre is enriched with the typical species of the lake area, with collections of aster, hydrangea and anemone that are among the most important in Italy. The many trees in the Park also include camphor, some redwood trees and a century-old Ginkgo biloba.
A unique experience for the visitors in nature, history and culture.
